Full Glory

I vlogged. Yes, me, Gabi, the girl who hates cameras and speaking, vlogged. After school yesterday I mentally slammed my imaginary fist on an imaginary table and resolved to finally try it.

My first thought when watching it back? “Sweet Jesus, my upper lip gets really thin when I talk.”

My second thought? “I can’t post this. It’s horrendous.”

Well, I decided to post it anyway. You all get to see me in my full, awkward glory for the first time ever on the interwebs. Brace yourself.

If you can’t watch the video for whatever reason, you’re not missing much. I pretty much just rambled about the fact that I was vlogging. I also mentioned how sweaty I was. As you can see, I’m a woman of class.

Even though I believe this was terrible, I’m going to keep trying. Some people blog to improve their writing, so I’ll vlog to improve my speaking. I was surprised by how difficult it was to talk to an inanimate object in my usual manner. Perhaps that’s actually a good thing.

P. S. To everyone who recommended I post some of my sketches on the previous post – I will…eventually. This may seem silly, but scanning is one of my absolute least favorite things to do. It’s a tedious task. I’m beginning to believe the scanner industry is run by modern-day Puritans who make it difficult in an attempt to suppress creative expression. If that’s the case, I applaud them. I only force myself to use that thing when I absolutely must for school or business. The more probable answer, of course, is that I’m lazy and possess only outdated technology.
