For someone who is restless and always in need new music to keep me interested, I don’t log in to iTunes very often. Neither my mother nor I are very good with computers, so if I want to use iTunes on our laptop, I have to use her log in. It’s like being in someone else’s house. Everything is customized to her liking. I feel as if the whole computer will blow if I don’t watch my step.
But today, I had a little personal iTunes party planned. I was going to add some songs my mom bought onto my iPod and maybe buy something. Maybe. Of course, our library was all janked up for some reason and every song had one of those those irritating circles with the exclamation points next it. Fudruckers.
Even though I’m sick of my iPod in some respects, the fact that my taste changes so drastically with my mood really helps. I like a little bit of everything. If I had to pick a favorite genre, I’d probably choose the incredibly broad Alternative category. But my favorite subcategories depend on the day. I generally listen to music that evokes the opposite of what I’m feeling. If I’m a fairly happy camper, I like to listen to heavier, darker, and grungier music. If I’m sad, I prefer light and upbeat songs. At the moment, I’m a happy camper. Since I’m losing major steam now that BEDA is coming to an end, I thought I would post a few of the songs I’m currently obsessed with.

I adore the original, but like with all songs, I got sick of it after about twenty listens. This remix is surprising awesome. It’s club- |
And oldie, but a goodie. Since the majority of music on the radio sucks these days, I usually find myself settling on the 90s alternative station in my mom’s car. They play a lot of Bush. I like Bush. |

Maybe my all-time favorite Muse song? It’s |
I heard this song awhile ago and enjoyed it, but it’s use in the commercials for that Priest made me love it 17.5x more. |
iTunes, for me, is like Heaven in a computer program. I’m always listening to it and streaming it to my Last.fm, or I’m listening to things on my iPod while buying more songs on iTunes, and I buy movies for on-the-go, etc. I just love it. I can understand why some people don’t use it though. It’s kind of pricey, now that they’ve raised the price of songs to $1.29 instead of the original $.99, but what’re you going to do?
I’m hardly a fan of Deadmau5. I don’t like techno/dance/club music. Most of the time I can handle today’s pop, but generally I like to stick with the real music that’s hidden underneath the pile of Pop Rubish. :3 I do like Foo Fighters, though, and Muse. Definitely a fan of Muse!
Frankly, your style in music – relating to your mood – is how I am, but no matter what mood I’m in I’m listening to bands like All Time Low, A Day to Remember, Papa Roach… All of my favorites. <3

My main place when it comes to music is always YouTube. I used iTunes a lot before but after a while, the music industry change a lot. All the music that is famous are all crappy. So I decided to stick to the 80′s and 90′s. All these scenes with young pop stars and Lady Gaga makes me hate the current music industry. More music that talk about sex rather than what is really happening in the world. Rihanna for example. I really love rock bands like Pink Floyd, Alice in Chains, Garbage, etc… and how I wish we have new bands that are like them.

iTunes is like my baby, I love the damn thing. I’ve always got it open and I listen to music on it and my iPod every day without fail. Music is a huge part of my life, you see.
I’ve never bought any music off iTunes though (I’ve bought a few apps for my iPod Touch before). My step dad usually gets my music for me because it’s easier for me.
My taste in music doesn’t vary much, I tend to listen to mainly rock music, sometimes metal, screamo etc but I never listen to pop music. I’m quite fussy with my music though and according to my Last.fm, I’ve only listened to 161 different artists. :X
I do listen to certain bands depending on my mood though. Although, Breaking Benjamin tend to fit whatever mood I’m in.
I do love Muse though! I haven’t listened to them in a while but my favourite song by them is either Starlight or Sing For Absolution. I’m really into Hollywood Undead at the moment, you should check them out! They’re classed as rap but it’s like a rock rap? Haha.

Music is such a huge part of my daily life. I only started using iTunes in late 2009 because I got an iPod. I don’t buy music much anymore and if I do, I buy it as a physical CD and usually end up ripping it. I support my favourite bands so I get the physical copy.
My taste in music doesn’t really change that much. I am willing to listen to anything though. I have over 30GB of music all of different genres and I had an iPod to accommodate all that, because on different days I’ll feel like listening to different things and I’ll have no idea what I’m in the mood for until I pull out all my music. I know that when I’m feeling down I do want something to cheer me up, but not something angry that ‘complements’ my mood. I want something really different. I love the Alternative genre, and my favourite alternative band would probably be the Smashing Pumpkins because of their diverse range of music.
PS. I watched some Seinfeld, but definitely not enough to call myself a fan or anything. I just loved that scene though. :D

What is BEDA?
Most of my songs have that because I moved my music files without realizing it. Stupid exclamation points. >.<

I always listen to my iTunes library at least once a week. I have so many songs on it that overplayed-songs usually never happen.
I kind of have a mixed taste in music now. Before it used to be only alternative rock and pop punk, and then it was hard rock. I used to not like pop or songs that mostly have rap or screamo in them much, but now they’ve been added to my “Nugget likes this” folder.
I rarely listen to Muse anymore, but I love New Born.

I won’t even lie about it. When people post music on blogs, I usually skip over that..and never listen. I know I’m doing myself a disservice cause there are some really great groups/artists out there that I am missing out on..so this time I actually had a listen. and you know what!? two out of the 4 songs I actually like. the first one and the last. Idk why but people with accents singing (and you can hear the accent) just makes me confused on the lyrics. I like to hear the words as they sing. Some songs though i could care less and the beat is all i listen to…but like you said it depends on the mood! I love Marsha Ambrosious’ “Far away” but then my roomate showed me the MUSIC video and it totally changed my outlook on the song. Its one of those things u just have to see to know what im talkn bout Lol.
