I spent all day working on this vector. While I’m not entirely happy with it from the waist down, I think it’s definately my best attempt at a human.

I’m in love with the character Joan (and the actress who plays her, Christina Hendricks) on Mad Men. If I could look that hot and curvy at a size 14, I would be eating chocolate cake for every meal of the day. Seriously, I would turn lesbian in a heartbeat for her. So gorgeous.
I can never get body proportions correct, so I thought she would be the perfect model for a sketch since her proportions are almost unrealistic. I don’t think I nailed it, but I’m getting better. As long as I could stick to this style for a few more vectors, I’ll probably get it down.
Perhaps I will vector the other women of Mad Men as well. Only two other female characters are prominent, but I suppose I’ll be sick of it by then anyway.
That looks seriously awesome! I don’t watch Mad Men, nor do I know who she is so i can’t compare the vector and actual girl, but it looks awesome!
I work as a cashier at a grocery store :P I thought I had mentioned it in my blog, but looking back I saw I didn’t.. oops :P Some of the produce items don’t have stickers, so we need to remember the codes so we can punch them in for the prices.
& I am trying to stay as optimistic about this, I just wish I could like.. fast forward to later in life to see if it’s actually going to work out, or if it’s a waste of time.

Mhm…don’t watch Mad Men. I barely watch television, accept for Degrassi, If You Really Knew Me, and Jersey Shore. The Jersey Shore cast members are sort of a joke. And RIDICULOUSLY tanned.

Everybody has been saying that lately, LOL. Not to brag or anything, I’m not from Dubai anyway I’m from Sharjah. The city next to it. You should! It’s great ;) .
I do love old people as well, and the stories they tell. Yet, when I sit with them I can’t help but get the feeling that they want to be young again, and the memories from it. It seems like they’re desperate, I don’t want to reach that stage really.
Being an adult scares me. I’m glad i’m 4 years away from it. The responsibilities that come with it, is just too much to handle for me.

Definitely watch AVPM. I’m the same way with you, I get bored with youtube vids really really easy (lol short attention span) but trust me, it’s worth it! Especially for an HP fan.

I don’t make vectors either, because I’ve always failed at it. I used to be so silly that I used Paint to try creating vectors! I know it’s possible, but yeah, it’s tough. It needs effort.
I think you’ve done it perfectly. The entire body looks as fine. I get what you mean by proportions. Forget about drawing, my own body’s not in proportion. Ha ha. =D

I hate changing schools. It is scary for me. I get freaked out about it very easily. You would think it would be easy for me because I’ve changed schools so many times, but I always have trouble adjusting.
