It’s Over

Round two of BEDA is over. Unlike last time, I’m relieved. I just didn’t have the same spirit this time around. I was still in summer break at the beginning of August, so my schedule was all bananas. I had to race to finish most of my blogs in the last half hour of the day because I was out and about all morning and afternoon. Once school came, my schedule became even worse. I can’t stay up past midnight anymore, and I’m usually not finished with homework until ten. That leaves, once again, a half hour to compose a blog. Looking back, this month’s blogs are much better than I’ve given them credit for. Still, there are more throwaways than there should be. Plus, I haven’t returned a single comment in at least two weeks. I miss the usual ping-pong blog reading. I’ve been a taker and not a giver, and that makes me feel lousy.

Of course, I had a feeling that this month of daily blogging would not leave me feeling as great as April’s did. My first round of BEDA is my magnum opus. I was on fire. That kind of quality is hard to reproduce with only three months of rest in between. So, I’ll be going back to bi-weekly-ish blogging. For now. You can fully expect me to swing back into BEDA next April with all the energy needed to tackle this beast.

Thanks to everyone who has been here every day whether I acknowledged your presence or not. I acknowledged it in my head, if that counts for anything. Expect some comment spam now as I go back and read through all the blogs I missed.

…This may take awhile.

Holy crap, you did it. You are a BEAST. I can never do BEDA. I mean, maybe, it sounds fun, but the thought of having an obligation to blog every day for a month really intimidates me. Good job for finishing it, you deserve a prize, like a gift card from Jamba Juice. Heck, if you can complete another round of BEDA I will mail you one, srsly.

You shouldn’t feel “lousy” for returning comments. I’m sure everyone’s aware that some of us have a life that exists outside of blogging.

GAH, FINALLY. Sorry, my Google Chrome’s been hating on your blog for a while and hasn’t been able to access it. :’(

CONGRATULATIONS ON COMPLETING BEDA SUCCESSFULLY! I think it’s a bit hard to blog in summer because it’s usually the same old, but you did it. Well done! :D

Lol. Girl, we know you have a life out side of this thing called the interwebs! It is ok by me (: Good luck with your busy schedule and studies!

Gabi, don’t scold yourself. You’ve done a good job and you’ve tried and succeeded. :) I think you’ve done fantastically. *hugs* I know, I also rush to post by midnight sometimes because I like the way my posts are evened out (sort of)… it can be hard to do when it’s the last thing in the day!

I can’t sleep past midnight anymore – well, I can, but I start getting very tired. I started sleeping early for a few weeks and now, again, ‘midnight’ is late to me. XD

    Take care. <3

I loved both rounds of BEDA so far. :) I missed a ton of the posts this month because of school though. Once school cools down, I’ll probably be reading lots of old blog posts because, recently, the only times I read blogs is when I’m returning comments.

    I can’t wait until April!

Congratulations on finishing BEDA this month though, despite your lack of motivation as compared to last April.

I may try BEDA out next April too, since it’d be summer here. Well, unless I’m out of the country, then that could be a little difficult to manage.

Oh my goodness, I could never blog every day for a month straight. Congrats on accomplishing it twice! :) I am very uncreative when it comes to blogging topics and all of my blogs would be cliché and cumbersome. Maybe I’ll try it some time if I somehow can become good at thinking under pressure–something I currently fail miserably at.

Congratulations, again! Have a nice day! :)

Wow you actually did it! I’m trying to BOAW. Blog once a week … yeah I made that up. I can hardly do that, and most of this time I had a completely free summer. Just think what I’d do now since my classes started.

Don’t worry about being a taker and not a giver … I think I’ve been a neglecter which is worse. I haven’t read your BEDA blogs for a while and think I might do that just now. Where’s the rewind button?

I did a 30 day challenge in August as well – but I posted on the 31st as well just so I did BEDA as well. It is hard work and whilst sometimes it’s easy to slip in a blog, like you, for the most part I left it until late at night… whoops. I wouldn’t mind doing it again, but not anytime soon. I prefer blogging every two or three days.

Don’t worry about the comments – as Tiff said, I’m sure everyone appreciates that you’re busy from time to time. For me, though, I normally just can’t be bothered. xD

    Well done on completing BEDA, though; it’s hard work ;w;

    Take care! xx

Yeah, I know August is a hectic month for most people! I wouldn’t have been able to do it, so good job on that!

=( I kinda missed most of this BEDA, sorry about that. I haven’t been as active online lately. I’m hoping to get back into the swing of things though. I’ll be looking forward to your next BEDA =)
